Venetian Splendour: Music of the Italian Baroque - 24th April 2027

Experience the drama, colour and vitality of the Baroque era in a concert that brings together magnificent music for choir and instrumental ensemble.

The centrepiece of the programme is Francesco Cavalli's vibrant Messa Concertata, a work full of energy, contrast and rich vocal writing. The programme also includes music by Johann Sebastian Bach, whose extraordinary genius continues to captivate audiences more than 300 years after it was written.

Set within the stunning surroundings of Wymondham Abbey, this concert promises an afternoon of musical grandeur, dazzling musicianship and timeless beauty.
